DR. MIKE MACINTOSH
Horizon Christian Fellowship, Pastor retired
For 41 years, Mike faithfully pastored Horizon Christian Fellowship in San Diego where his son, Phillip, has now transitioned into that role. This new season of ministry is providing Mike more opportunity to travel and equip the church worldwide, as well as reaching those who are hurting and lost.
Mike’s love for learning and education has helped him earn three graduate degrees, an honorary degree from Azusa Pacific Graduate School of Theology, and a Doctor of Ministry degree from Fuller Theological Seminary. He is the author of several books, including When Your World Falls Apart, drawn from his experiences as a Chaplain responding to the New York World Trade Center disaster on September 11, 2001.
He is deeply committed to serving the law enforcement community, first-responders, and their families. Mike has served as a reserve officer and currently as a chaplain for the San Diego Police Department, the Newport Beach Police Department, the American Red Cross, and the Disaster Medical Assistance Team under the Department of Health and Human Services. He also became a certified trainer through the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation, which has prepared him to go anywhere in the world to serve others during crisis events such as Ground Zero, Sandy Hook, Oklahoma City bombing, and even across the globe to counsel Mid-East Yazidis woman in Northern Iraq who were rescued from ISIS.
Having the heart of an evangelist, Mike has sensed God shifting his calling from his local pastoral role to a much broader global platform. His passion is to equip and strengthen pastors around the nation through encouraging, mentoring, and supporting them in their own ministries. Mike continues to speak at churches and city outreaches sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ.
With 6 children, 20 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren, Mike finds one of the greatest honors is being the patriarch of his family. He and Sandy have been happily married for 49 years.
DOTTIE DAVIS
Davis Corporate Training
Fort Wayne Police Department, retired
Dottie Davis is the Owner of Davis Corporate Training, Inc., a private training, and consulting business. She began her career in law enforcement in 1981 with the Fort Wayne (IN) Police Department (FWPD) where she served for nearly 32 years. Ms. Davis held the rank of patrol officer, sergeant, lieutenant, captain, and last served as the Director of Training at the Academy, holding the rank of Deputy Chief. Her career spans multiple roles, such as serving as a hostage negotiator, implementing the Crisis Intervention Team with the Fort Wayne Police Department to better serve individuals in a mental health crisis, as well as bringing the Lethality Assessment Program to assist first responders in determining whether a victim of domestic violence was at risk of homicide. In 2003, Ms. Davis was the first female officer of the FWPD selected to attend the National FBI Academy in Quantico, Virginia. During her career she received numerous commendations, including two Meritorious Service Citations.
After retiring in 2013, she was selected as the Director of Security for Fort Wayne Community Schools (FWCS), the largest school corporation in the State of Indiana with over 30,000 students and nearly 5,000 employees. Ms. Davis was responsible for supervising approximately 100 law enforcement officers and other security personnel in the schools. During her employment with FWCS, she developed and implemented safety protocols for 63 buildings, which included emergency plans utilizing plain talk, mass push notifications in the event of a lockout or lockdown, and creating a visitor/vendor/volunteer management system that was installed in all schools within the district to identify sex offenders and excluded parties, as well as to know who was on premise in the event of a critical incident.
Dottie also volunteers and leads her church’s security team.
She serves as a Board member for the YWCA Northeast Indiana, Fort Wayne Sexual Assault Treatment Center, Mental Health America of Northeast Indiana, and the Euell Wilson Center.
HUGH WHITE
Full Strength Network, Founder
Brotherhood Mutual Insurance, retired VP
Hugh White is a preacher’s kid. He graduated from Penn State University in 1973 with a degree in business administration. Later in his career, he earned a Master of Divinity degree from Grace Theological Seminary, graduating with honors in 1986.
Just prior to graduation from seminary, Hugh joined Brotherhood Mutual Insurance Company and served there for 31 years, most of those years as chief sales and marketing officer helping the company become a national property/casualty specialist insuring America’s churches and related ministries.
In his role with Brotherhood Mutual, Hugh was instrumental in launching what became a nationwide educational movement in reducing the risk of child sexual abuse in the church, and later a second national campaign dealing with church security.
Hugh has been involved as a team leader with a decade-long business as mission and church planting initiative in Serbia in Eastern Europe. He also served for several years as board chair of the century-old Fort Wayne Rescue Mission and served on the board of Truth@Work–a marketplace ministry.
Hugh and his wife Becky have three grown children and five grandchildren.
JASON RUSSELL
Secured Education Consultants, CEO
U.S. Secret Service, retired
Jason is the founder of Secure Education Consultants, LLC (SEC) and is its President and Chief Executive Officer. He is responsible for overseeing all company operations, product development, and quality assurance. SEC is headquartered in Grand Rapids, Michigan and serves 100’s of clients in over 30 states.
Prior to founding SEC, Jason served with the United States Secret Service as a Special Agent. During his tenure, Jason was involved in protective and investigative assignments as well as protecting the President and Vice President along with all living former Presidents. In addition to protection assignments, Jason served as the Secret Service Lead Instructor at the International Law Enforcement Academy, a Physical Fitness Coordinator, and on the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
Jason began his law enforcement career with the Lansing Police Department (LPD). While with the LPD, Jason was recognized with a lifesaving award from Mothers Against Drunk Driving. Jason has worked on the US Marshals Fugitive Task Force, and various multi-jurisdictional enforcement initiatives.
Jason is a frequent Keynote and content speaker at conferences on the topics of emergency preparedness, active shooter response, and safety and security process. Jason additionally has taught criminal investigation and security courses as an adjunct professor.
Born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, Jason holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Western Michigan University and his Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice and Security Management from Michigan State University.
SHAUNESTTE TERRELL
Shaunestte Terrell is an attorney and member of the Sexual Abuse Litigation Team at Cohen & Malad, LLP. Shaunestte brings years of experience prosecuting crimes of rape, child molest, child abuse, human trafficking, and other crimes against protected persons. As the sole Deputy Prosecuting Attorney handling sex trafficking in Indianapolis, Shaunestte frequently participated in undercover investigations and prostitution ring busts, which she then prosecuted in state court or referred to the United States Attorney’s Office where she served as a Special Assistant United States Attorney. Considered the subject matter expert in sexual assault and domestic violence for Indiana’s 91 elected Prosecuting Attorneys, Shaunestte developed state-wide prosecutor-based preventive law programs and developed curriculums for trial advocacy and substantive courses specific to these subject matters. Shaunestte served as Chairperson of the Indiana Sexual Assault Response Team Advisory Council where she led the effort to implement a statewide sexual assault kit tracking system, Chairperson of the Governor’s Council on Domestic Violence Prevention & Treatment, on the Indiana Supreme Court’s Domestic Violence Advisory Council, and the Indiana Protection for Abused and Trafficked Humans Task Force, amongst others.
PAUL DVORAK
Director of Security, Anthem, U.S. Secret Service, retired
Paul Dvorak is the Director of Security for Anthem and the retired U.S. Secret Service Special Agent in Charge (SAIC) of the Indianapolis Field Office. While at the Indianapolis Secret Service Office, Mr. Dvorak was responsible for managing protective responsibilities for our nation’s leaders, as well as investigations impacting the financial infrastructure and payment system in the State of Indiana. In fact, Mr. Dvorak was appointed the Indianapolis 500 Federal Coordinator by the Secretary of Homeland Security for several years.
Prior to his assignment in Indiana, Mr. Dvorak was assigned to the Secret Service Headquarters where he oversaw the travel logistics for more than 6,000 employees in support of the President and Vice President’s domestic and international travel. As a supervisor in the Dignitary Protective Division, Mr. Dvorak coordinated the overall security plan for two United Nations General Assemblies attended by over 350 world leaders. He also managed logistics for visits of foreign dignitaries to the United States, including Pope Benedict XVI and Queen Elizabeth II.
Mr. Dvorak served on the Presidential Protective Division during the George W. Bush Administration where he conducted protective advances and physical security. He began his career in the Birmingham Field Office as a criminal investigator. Mr. Dvorak is certified as Senior Executive Service by the U.S. Office of Personnel Management.
