Community Bible Study approached us with a problem 2 years ago regarding the amount of work required to complete reference checks for their 10,000 plus volunteers. They require each volunteer to provide 3 completed references prior to volunteering, which meant that a minimum of 3 phone calls were made per volunteer. The manual process required a lot of documentation, which was very time consuming due to most references needing more than one phone call before getting a response.

Utilizing Reflynk, we were able to automate the entire reference process for Community Bible Study. Reflynk sends Likert scale questions to all references via text message and email which allows the reference to respond in a convenient and timely manner. The completed RefLynk surveys are all available in streamlined reports for each candidate. Reflynk sends automatic daily reminders to the reference until the survey is completed. This removed a significant amount of time and labor for the Community Bible Study team.
